What's Happening At Cornerstone?

Fellowship, getting together for friendship and fun, is important in the  Christian Church.
It is through fellowship that new friendships are formed and strengthened.
If you want to develop deeper relationships within the church body, try to attend as
many fellowship events as you possibly can.  Fellowship will help you make friends
and find a niche in this church.

Youth Group
Senior High (Grades 9-12)
5:30 - 6:45 p.m.
Junior High (Grades 5-8)
6:45-8:00 p.m.
These groups are focused on providing and environment where teens gather to learn about Christ.  We believe teaching youth to love like Jesus (1 Corinthians 13:4-8) will draw them towards a loving Father for a relationship that will last a lifetime.
These groups often spend the night playing a game, having a discussion based on a Bible lesson, snack time and building relationships.
Youth Bible Study
1:00 p.m.
The group is intentional about building relationships with each other, sharing their lives, and openly discussing the deep and sometimes hard truths about life which explode into prominence during that amazing, but challenging, time called “adolescence”.
The Youth Bible Study is a worksheet-free, “fill-in-the-blank”-free, no “busy work” experience that challenges teens to voice their thoughts, concerns, joys and doubts about life and Christianity in an environment that welcomes them where they are at and values them as the preciously loved handiwork of God they already are.
Contact the church office (801-568-0954) for more information.
Care & Share
4th Sunday of the Month
1:00 p.m.
This group is open to anyone who would like to participate in this casual meeting with a small number of individuals to talk about events in life and to pray for one another.
(Parents of youth who attend the Youth Bible Study might consider joining this lunch group, since their children will be attending the Youth Group at the same time.)
What Christians Believe Class
What do Christians believe, about God? About Jesus? About human beings? About sin, death, resurrection and life everlasting? And exactly which beliefs are essential- required -- of all Christians? The Christian Church has had to deal with these kinds of questions from the very beginning and, over time, the Church has chiseled out what’s true and what isn’t; which beliefs are essential and which are not important enough to fight for or to fight over.
Interested? Drop in for our Sunday morning adult class on Basic Christian beliefs. This is one of the four core courses our church has offered through the years to aid followers of Christ to grow and mature as disciples. (The other three are: Spiritual Disciplines; Discovering Your Spiritual Gifts and Learning how to use them in serving others; and, How to Share Your Faith.) Put it on your calendar:

Sunday mornings at 9:45 in the

“Blue Room”.

 Youth Breakfast
Youth in grades 6-12 are invited to a breakfast each week before the Sunday morning worship service, at 9:45 a.m.
